Second installment of 'Pets in the Park' a huge success

Huntlee's second, annual 'Pets in the Park'

Now in it's second year, Huntlee's 'Pets in the Park' event is designed to bring together humans and their furry besties, all while raising much needed funds for Hunter Animal Rescue.

This year's installment featured loads of activities for the human kiddies including a jumping castle, face painting and arts and crafts thanks to our friends at Huntlee ELC.

While our furry friends could enjoy a bath thanks to Twisted Whiskers and KB's Pampered Pooches mobile dog washes, followed by a photo shoot with the amazing Daniel Arnaldi.

A great result for Hunter Animal Rescue

This year, 'Pets in the Park' raised a huge $1215 for Hunter Animal Rescue, which will allow them to continue the great work they do in rehoming a large number of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

This year a very special adoptee was in attendance at 'Pets in the Park'. Hugo is a gentle giant with a heart of pure gold. He was picked up as a stray in pretty bad condition, and had some very hefty medical bills to get to the bottom of what was causing him so much pain. We thank everyone who helped donate to Hugo's cause on the day, or supported HAR in general through purchasing raffle tickets, a hot dog or any merchandise at the event.
