Town centre off to a great start
It seems fitting that the first business to open in the Huntlee Town Centre will be one catering for the many young families who have chosen Huntlee to be their children’s home town.
The Huntlee Early Learning Centre will be a 164-place childcare centre offering state-of-the-art facilities. It will comprise three nursery rooms, two toddler rooms, two junior rooms and two school readiness rooms, as well as the latest educational resources, a spacious outdoor environment and large, onsite carpark.
The Centre’s Operations Manager, Lauren Taylor, said Huntlee ELC is a privately-owned family business which aims to provide the highest quality care.
“We want to provide stimulating, positive experiences and interactions which foster all aspects of early
childhood development,” said Lauren.
“It’s exciting to be part of the new town of Huntlee and there’s already a high demand for what we have to offer. We started taking expressions of interest at the beginning of the year and have had a wonderful response from local residents, with enquiries continuing to be received daily.”
Huntlee Project Director, Stephen Thompson, said the Early Learning Centre is an ideal fit for the Huntlee Town Centre.
“Huntlee is a fully master-planned community with a focus on education, employment and recreational opportunities for its residents,” said Stephen.
“A large number of young families are choosing to call Huntlee their new home town and, no doubt, they will appreciate having a facility of this calibre in such close proximity.
“We believe the Huntlee Early Learning Centre has an important role to play in the development of our community. It will be a cornerstone facility for the Huntlee Town Centre and we very much look forward to it being open for business.”
The Huntlee Early Learning Centre is expected to be completed by the end of August. For further information, visit www.huntleeelc.com.au
About Huntlee Early Learning Centre
The Huntlee ELC will open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 6.00pm, 52 weeks per year (excluding public holidays). It will cater to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
The 164 place facility will boast three nursery rooms, two toddler rooms, two junior rooms and two school readiness rooms. Each of the nursery rooms will have its own cot room, bottle preparation areas and separate nappy change and toileting facilities.
The service will be a home-away-from-home environment that supports the learning and growth of children. Nutritious meals (prepared by a qualified chef), nappies and wipes, incursions, a comprehensive school readiness program incorporating the New South Wales School Curriculum and Jolly Phonics syllabus are all included at no additional charge.
The centre will also be implementing Storypark online programming, an application you can download on any smart phone where parents have constant access to centre programming via their mobile phones (or desktop website).
At the heart of the service is the belief the early years of a child’s life are their most influential. It is within these years a child develops the foundation skills and abilities that will carry them through life. The Huntlee ELC’s role is crucial in fostering and facilitating the child’s development in these years, ensuring ongoing opportunities and support to families and children for continuing growth and development.
For enrolment opportunities, access to the Huntlee ELC waitlist application is live on the website via the enrolment tab For further information visit www.huntleeelc.com.au or contact via email: email@example.com
