More convenience, jobs on the way for Huntlee.

The Town Centre is the focus for the next stage of development at Huntlee

Of particular interest is the announcement of a cluster of convenience stores on Wine Country Drive, just up from the Huntlee Tavern.

A 7-Eleven and Mobil petrol station will be warmly welcomed by local Huntlee residents, whose closest options are currently around 4 kilometres away in Greta.

The new commercial development will also include popular fast food restaurant franchises McDonald’s, Subway and Domino’s.

More than just simply adding a raft of eating options for the rapidly growing town, the development is expected to generate approximately 200 casual, part-time, and full-time job opportunities for people in the area.

The site is being developed by Central Coast-based Stevens Group, with the new convenience hub expected to be open for business by early 2024.

A second stage of the development, pending approval, includes plans for a mixed-use commercial building with potential for even more food outlets, and business/employment opportunities.
