Huntlee got spooky

This year was a resounding success, with a fantastic turnout and a great display of community spirit.

The streets were lined with festive, spooky decorations, as residents transformed their homes into haunted masterpieces, competing for the best-decorated house.

The creativity was truly impressive, making it a tough job for the judges!

We’re thrilled to congratulate the winners of this year’s Halloween House Decoration Competition:

Best Haunted House Decor: Scott Stennett

Most Frighteningly Original Costume: Kristen Samuels

Best Carved Pumpkin: Mary Watson

Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the night so memorable!

Newcastle Spiral Spuds, The Doghouse Grill & Swirl n Dip food trucks were a huge hit, offering delicious options that kept everyone fueled for a long night of trick-or-treating and socialising. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the evening, which was full of laughter, fun costumes, and warm community connections.

A big thank you to everyone in Huntlee who came out, decorated, or supported the event.

This Halloween was a true testament to Huntlee community’s spirit and creativity, and we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring next year!
