Huntlee is more than just land and property, it’s a community that embraces art, culture, entertainment, business services, education and recreation.

Choose Lifestyle

Every aspect of Huntlee development has been carefully considered to deliver on every element of modern living. The master-planned estate will be home to up to 20,000 residents spread across three villages, surrounding a lively 200ha town centre. This friendly neighbourhood hub encourages an active and connected community. It is already home to many shops and services, including a Coles, Liquorland, medical centre, and chemist, not to mention the iconic Huntlee Tavern. The popular bistro is open every day of the week serving gastropub favourites and kids meals. From the new Huntlee Shopping Centre to parks and playgrounds, Huntlee has something for every generation.

The Huntlee Community Plan was established to create a happy, vibrant community, now and long into the future. Over the next 20 years, more than $1.5 billion will be invested into Huntlee. This will drive our mission for Huntlee to remain connected, active and healthy; to enhance our natural environment; create local employment and business opportunities, and remain the best for contemporary living.

Choose History

Huntlee is making history. Huntlee’s first village, Katherine’s Landing is named in honour of the first family of wine-growing in the Hunter region. It pays homage to the pioneering viticulturalists of the area. When 20-year-old Katherine Busby boarded the good ship Triton in England in 1824, little did she know that on that voyage she would meet her future husband, and that together they would help shape the future of one of Australia’s most famous wine-growing regions.

The ‘landing’, of Katherine's Landing, is a nod to the private aeroplane landing strip belonging to a local farmer, and once ran along the ridgeline at Katherine’s Landing. This area will be maintained as a public open space and offers the perfect vantage point to look out over the village.

Choose your Future

Being a place of growth and prosperity, Huntlee has the advantage of bringing life, work and play opportunities together in an affordable way that only a new town can deliver. With so many innovative plans within the Huntlee development, it’s an exciting future for the residents of Huntlee.
