Huntlee has been an absolutely welcoming and thriving community in the Hunter valley that I have certainly loved to call home as of now. Not only does it have a friendly community, it supports local business and has everything to offer within a short drive or walk.
Since buying and moving into the estate in early 2021 I have been able to establish my lawn mowing business locally, propose to my partner Tammy, explore the Hunter region, create new friendships in the estate, hop on a balloon ride, helicopter rides, attend local events like farmers markets, explore Barrington tops and even go and see what Newcastle has to offer when I choose to!
Myself and my partner Tammy moved out of western Sydney to the Hunter in search of a new life that supports friends, family, community and local business. We have and are consistently creating new memories in Huntlee that makes us extremely happy to look towards our future and what it holds for us.
The LWP Group and mainly Kelsey from the sales office have been nothing but professional to deal with and have been friendly and patient with all our questions throughout the whole buying process. They encouraged all our questions and concerns raised within the estate which made us feel important, cared for, and supported. From flow system to fire ratings and flooding questions, these where all answered and addressed for our peace of mind.
I am extremely grateful to be a resident and business owner within the Huntlee community and have not looked back!

Sheryl and I originally lived in Thomas street North Rothbury and we watched the commencement of Huntlee start directly beneath our noses, so to speak. Sheryl made a decision to buy a block of land and build a house as an investment originally but through circumstances, we decided to move into the property instead. We were the 6th family to move into Huntlee and the 2nd in our street.
Our first impressions of Huntlee were fantastic from the day we moved in, manicured landscapes well-designed playgrounds, and walkways. The green belts through the entire estate give a feel of being connected to the bush. When we moved in we made some fantastic friends and they still continue to be our friends even though some have moved on due to job placement or building of their own properties in other areas of Huntlee. The community feel was fantastic and the common goal of everyone to create a liveable space was reinforced by LWP’s commitment to creating a community to be proud of.
The community presence is very strong within Huntlee. It is not the Township itself alone that makes it great, it is the people within. Families make strong communities, after all, it is the village that raises the children, not the parents. Huntlee makes families welcome. The people here are all proud members of a community and love to talk about their pride. I have lived in communities where there are people who do not have that pride and it shows in the care for their properties. I have not seen that here and I think that the appearance of the community makes people want to live here.
Sheryl and I love living in Huntlee. It offers us everything we desire in a place to live. On top of everything else, we are only 40 minutes from the beach, 40 Minutes from Lake Macquarie, 45 minutes to the airport, 2 and a half hours from Sydney (this puts Sydney into a day trip to see family for us now), 7 hours to the Gold Coast.
I just want to thank you for the work you have done for us of late to make the process of purchasing our block(s) of land easy and enjoyable.
November of 2016, we purchased our lot and we could not be any happier since our move from Sydney.
Seeing how Huntlee changes from flatlands to having a full swinging, lovely community. I love how people are approachable and friendly. Walking or driving past friendly faces on the road, a simple wave or nod from your neighbours is what we call added bonus living here. It feels like “home”.
Our journey never stops here. We also recently took over a coffee trailer business that is sitting beside the new Huntlee sales office. Interacting and serving locals with our products and seeing so much support from them is truly heartwarming.
Coles, Huntlee Tavern, Vineyards, and Pokolbin restaurants are just within close range. Seeing Hot Air Balloons in the morning whilst enjoying your morning coffee is definitely a highlight. What more can one look for?
Huntlee created such a great environment for the locals. Yoga on the weekends, Mums and Bubs, Exercise programs, Cinema/Movie nights, and our favourite Christmas lights competition. We would never trade this for anywhere else.
