We love being able to provide fantastic community events aimed at promoting community growth and creating new connections.
With 2022 being an extremely tough year for a lot of us, we decided to give back to the local communities and provide a helping hand where it’s truly needed.
Throughout 2022, we have been raising money at each of our community events, with most of the money coming from Huntlee stall holder payments from our markets. In total, we were able to raise $1391.30.
We donated to a woman’s refuge centre who educate, support and advocate, ensuring that all women have access to the services, resources, and opportunities needed. We were able to raise and donate a total of $625 from our Christmas Fair plus, through the Huntlee Mums Group, we were also able to donate wrapped gifts.
We also donated to Lismore Flood Relief. This Flood Relief was created in response to the major flood event that occurred in Lismore, in 2022. We were able to raise and donate a total of $766.30 from our Easter Fair and District Park Opening events.
